The second edition features a happy melty head in ¾-view, looking back at the viewer. These ones are similar to previous editions in that I’ve taken old sold out prints and hand-painted the background in a variety of splattery spray paint. All the backgrounds are unique, and the character has been silkscreened in a variety of color combinations (five to be exact), so these are all one-of-a-kind! These will be shipped at random, but if you order more than one, we'll make sure you get different ones! Signed and numbered on the front in an edition of 100.
"I relied on 2 different silkscreen printers to produce these, and I relied on my old buddy Tom (who’s made The Melty Misfits trading cards for over 10 years) to do the die-cutting. I actually went up to Vermont to work with him on these. 12 inches is the max size that his 1950’s press could handle, so that was the die that he had made. Over a few hours, we worked together to die-cut these one-at-a-time (and sometimes two-at-a-time). Video here."
