Add Fuel is the moniker of Diogo Machado (b. 1980), a Portuguese artist from Cascais known for his intricate tile-inspired artwork that reinterprets the traditional Portuguese azulejo. His work bridges street art and fine art, layering ornate patterns with contemporary graphic elements to create richly detailed compositions. Add Fuel studied graphic design at IADE in Lisbon and has been exhibiting and painting murals internationally since the mid-2000s. His pieces can be found on walls and in galleries across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, earning him recognition as one of the leading figures in pattern-based contemporary art.
