DEFER is the moniker of a Los Angeles-based graffiti artist and painter who has been active since the 1980s as a foundational figure in the LA graffiti scene. Known for his raw, expressive style, DEFER's work ranges from classic wildstyle letterforms to large-scale canvases and murals that channel the energy and grit of the streets. He is a member of the K2S and STN crews and is widely respected as one of the original voices of West Coast graffiti culture. His art reflects decades of experience and a deep commitment to the craft of aerosol writing.
