Farid Rueda is a Mexican muralist and painter from the state of Morelos, known for his monumental, hypercolorful murals of animals and hybrid creatures. His work fuses elements of Mexican folk art, surrealism, and street art into large-scale compositions that transform urban walls into vivid displays of wildlife rendered in geometric facets and prismatic color. Rueda studied visual arts at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). His murals can be found throughout Mexico and in cities across the Americas and Europe, making him one of the most prominent young muralists in the Mexican contemporary art scene.
